Interested In Becoming a Friend?
We are always looking for new Friends. We fundraise mainly through our book sales and candy sales, but we are always looking for new ideas. We contribute funds to the Library for things such as the Summer Reading Program, the Holiday Spectacular and the Halloween Bash. We also donate our time to any function we are asked to attend, and you might have seen us in our blue shirts with the happy book logo. If you’re interested, please email us or pick up a membership application at the Library. We are in the middle of redesigning our booklet, so please be patient. Our dues are reasonable, and more important, we can always use new members with new ideas.
Contact the library for a Friends of the Library Membership Application.

Bricks for Books
Looking for a way to support your public library AND honor a special person, family or event in your life? The Friends of the Glenwood-Lynwood Public Library District is selling LEGACY BRICKS. Legacy bricks are a wonderful way to memorialize a special person, family or event. Dozens of legacy bricks lay around the flagpole outside of our library honoring friends, family and memories. The Friends of the Library is selling the bricks for $50 each. All funds support the continued growth of the library’s print collection.
