Help us celebrate one of the most popular superheroes and our favorite caped crusader!  Stop by the Reference Desk, tell us your favorite Batman villain and select a free comic book to take home.  Quantities are limited, so stop by early!  Limit 1 per person.  Ages 13 and up.

Back by popular demand, Comic Book Colorist Corey Greene makes his return to teach you more about the art of coloring digital comic books. Corey Green has worked alongside iconic publishers such as Marvel, DC, and Dr. Who, and now he is teaching you how to color your own hero! In this hands-on class, students will digitally color line art in our iCan Media Lab equipped with all the tools you need. Ages 11 and up.  Advanced registration required. 

Teen Read Week Book Swap

Help the library celebrate Teen Read Week (October 18-24) and participate in our 1st annual Teen Book Swap. Bring in a gently used book and take home a new (to you) book. Teen Read Week is an annual event that’s held to encourage literacy and library usage for teens. Limit one book per person.

Did your parents always tell you not to play with your food? Now’s your chance to get even! Join us at the library to get your hands dirty while we play Pudding Pictionary. And may the messiest team win! All supplies are provided and old clothes are encouraged.  Grades 5 and up.
